I previously worked in the securities industry for two years. I started at American Express Financial Advisors as a Financial Advisor (1999-2000). I had my Series 7 & 63 as well as my California Life Insurance Agent licenses. I attended American Express Financial Advisors University, Advisor College and received my certificate of completion. I then worked at TD Waterhouse (Charles Schwab) as a Relationship Manager (2000-2001). I managed brokerage accounts and provided customer service to financial advisors. I was an arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers (FINRA) and the National Futures Association. I also have a Master of Business Administration from the University of San Diego (2005), I am a published financial writer (Fell’s Know It All Guide Online Investing) and I wrote articles for financial newspapers.
I was a California Civil Litigation Attorney for 20 years (Juris Doctor, California Western School of Law-1989) and have considerable client management experience (1991-1999; 2001-2012). I am a member of the State Bar of California and Arizona (Inactive)
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, University of Alberta-1986.
